Auto Fraud Initial Consultation

We take auto fraud cases on an hourly basis. Our hourly rate ranges from $75/hour for a law clerk, $250-350/hour for an attorney, and $415 for Raina Bayas. The retainer fee is $3,000, which sits in a separate client trust account and is only drawn upon after we incur fees and you approve the invoice. In many auto-fraud cases, some or all of the attorneys’ fees are part of the settlement negotiations or final judgment.

Our engagements are structured on an hourly basis with an evergreen retainer, ensuring each matter receives focused, senior-level attention. We do not accept cases on contingency. Therefore, you will have to provide a $3,000 trust retainer for us to begin working on your case. To write a demand letter to the dealership will most likely cost between $1,500 - $2,000. If they do not respond to the demand letter, then the next step is to file for arbitration. That may cost $6,000 to $20,000. The Auto Industry Division oversees the licensing of all dealerships in Colorado. You can make a claim with them and they will assign an investigator to your case for free. The investigator will review the dealership's files. Occasionally, when an investigator gets involved, the dealership will start to negotiate with you to show the investigator that they did not commit any violations of the law.
